Our Role
LatinaEmber is a video index site. We do not host any videos ourselves, so we can’t remove videos from the internet. What we can do is remove the listings and embedded links on our site. If you own rights to a video, you should also contact the site that actually hosts the video.
How to Send a Takedown Notice (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3))
To request removal of a listing, please include:
- The URL(s) of the listing(s) on latinaember.com
- A description of the copyrighted work you own
- Your name, address, and email
- A statement made in good faith that the use is unauthorized
- A statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act
- Your signature (typing your name is acceptable)
Send your notice to the Copyright Agent for LatinaEmber using the contact form at contact page.
What Happens Next
We respond to valid notices within a few business days. If you receive a takedown and believe it was mistaken, you can send a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) through the same contact form. If a source repeatedly causes valid takedown notices, we remove all listings from that source permanently.
